You’d really need to have this book today.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
I’m sure you’d find the Vespa 400 Micro within.
Made, despite the name, in Fourchambault in France, the 400 was a 400 cc (yes, you guessed it!) two stroke with about 14 bhp on a good day and a Vmax of 50 odd mph on the same good day.
The official launch was graced by the expensive presences of Juan Manuel Fangio, Jean Behra and the real Louis Chiron. No, not the Bugatti.
Yes, the front slid out so you could get to the battery. No, I can’t think of anyone else who did that.

That Amazon has a two-stroke, and Amazon has the book about two-strokes. Perfect.

I think he briefly hits upon it but it is overwhelmingly car-oriented.

I didn’t even realize the model name, just knew it was a Volvo. Accidentally perfect!
